If you or your family need a bit of extra help, remember that HertsHelp are there for you. They can arrange to get food and other essentials to you, or provide advice for a number of other issues you may be facing. 

Mental Wellbeing

We might use it to talk about how we feel, how well we're coping with daily life or what feels possible at the moment. Good mental wellbeing doesn't mean you're always happy or unaffected by your experiences. But poor mental wellbeing can make it more difficult to cope with daily life. (Mind).

Every Mind Matters

  • Every Mind Matters Looking after your Mental Health - Having good mental health helps us relax more, achieve more and enjoy our lives more. We have expert advice and practical tips to help you look after your mental health and wellbeing.

  • NHS Talking Therapies Talking therapies, or psychological therapies, are effective and confidential treatments delivered by fully trained and accredited NHS practitioners. They can help with common mental health problems like stress, anxiety and depression. You can access talking therapies on the NHS. A GP can refer you, or you can refer yourself directly to an NHS psychological therapies service (IAPT) without a referral from a GP.

  • KOOTH Kooth offers emotional and mental health support for children and young people aged between 11 – 24 years and is available up to 10pm every day.

  • Samaritans Samaritans works to make sure there’s always someone there for anyone who needs someone.
